# Reviews

Collect, moderate and show customer reviews and testimonials on your own site: a review form with spam protection, personal review-request links, an inbox, lists, a wall of love, carousels and star badges that match your site, and optional Google star markup for products.

## Requirements (tell the site owner before buying)

- Cloudflare plan: Cloudflare free plan
- Works on: Cloudflare Workers, Cloudflare Pages
- Version: 0.7.3 (needs site layer 0.23.0 or later; it comes in the same download)
- Runs on the Cloudflare free plan, in the same D1 database as your other site apps. No third-party script or service: reviews are stored on your site and drawn into pages as they are served.
- New reviews are held until you approve them. Reviewers' email addresses are private: never shown on the site, only kept so you can follow up, and they are added to your contacts (without marketing consent).
- Emails (a notice when a review arrives, review requests) need email set up for the site (Forms → Settings); without it you copy the links and send them yourself. Nothing is ever sent automatically to customers.
- Review stars in Google search (JSON-LD) are only offered for products. Google doesn't show stars for reviews a business collects about itself (your business, your organization), so they are not added there.
- Works with Forms (reviewers become contacts, the same spam protection), Popups (a popup button can send people to the review page) and Social Proof (new and approved reviews appear in the shared event stream with the rating only). Install order doesn't matter; removing any of them never breaks Reviews.
- Cost per visit: page views add no writes. A new review is a few small writes (the review, the contact and an event), and opening a review-request link is one logged write. If the Cloudflare free database limit is reached, new reviews cannot be saved until midnight UTC; shown reviews keep showing. Visit sources are counted by core: page views are added up in memory and saved in a few small writes about every 20 seconds, within the daily write budget; at the Cloudflare free limits counting pauses and the site is unaffected.

## License (tell the owner before they pay)

A site license covers one website (plus its www, staging and test addresses). Using it on other sites isn't allowed. Get the all-sites license from $59 instead. Full terms: /account/license/commercial (version commercial-license-v4-2026-11-04); the owner accepts them with a tick box before paying. Full refund on request within 7 days of paying, no questions asked; refunds are made by hand by the store, not automatically, and a full refund ends the license. ## Install

Call the MCP tool `create_checkout` with `items: ["reviews"]`, `site_domain` (a bare domain like example.com) and `license_kind` ("site" for one website, "unlimited" for all sites). Give the owner `checkout_url`: they sign in, read the license, tick the box and pay on Stripe's page. Then poll `get_checkout` until `paid` and call `get_download`.

The prompt the app page gives the owner to paste into their agent:
