Reviews Beta
Collect, moderate and show customer reviews and testimonials on your own site: a review form with spam protection, personal review-request links, an inbox, lists, a wall of love, carousels and star badges that match your site, and optional Google star markup for products.
Reviews is in beta: it works, but things may still break. Tell us if something does: open an issue. Every paid order has a 7-day refund.
Buy Reviews
$19 USD per site · $59 USD for all your sitesA site license covers one website (plus its www, staging and test addresses). Using it on other sites isn't allowed. Get the all-sites license from $59 instead.
Every license includes 12 months of updates; the version you download keeps working after that, and you can renew updates for about half the price.
7-day refund, no questions asked · Refund policy
Instant download after payment: the app's code and a license file for your site; your AI agent installs it. Includes 12 months of updates.
You'll log in first (new here? that creates your account), then pick the site and review the order before paying.
Ask your AI agent to install this
Paste this into your AI agent (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another), opened in your site's project. It tells you what the app needs and costs before it changes anything.
Install the Reviews app (id: reviews) from the Sundogs site apps store on this site. First read https://sundo.gs/apps/reviews.md and tell me what it needs and what it costs. If I don't own it yet, start a checkout with create_checkout and give me the link; I'll tick the license and pay myself. Then download it with get_download for this site's domain. Follow the install guide (site-apps/INSTALL.md in the download, also at https://sundo.gs/install-guide.md). Check it with the install guide's step 6 (the public status, then the self-test once you can sign in to the admin) and tell me what's next. (Not connected to the store yet? See https://sundo.gs/agents.)
What it needs
- Cloudflare plan
- Cloudflare free plan
- Works on
- Cloudflare Workers, Cloudflare Pages
- Version
- 0.7.3 (site layer 0.23.0 or later)
- Price
- $19 USD per site · $59 USD for all your sites
All the details
- Runs on the Cloudflare free plan, in the same D1 database as your other site apps. No third-party script or service: reviews are stored on your site and drawn into pages as they are served.
- New reviews are held until you approve them. Reviewers' email addresses are private: never shown on the site, only kept so you can follow up, and they are added to your contacts (without marketing consent).
- Emails (a notice when a review arrives, review requests) need email set up for the site (Forms → Settings); without it you copy the links and send them yourself. Nothing is ever sent automatically to customers.
- Review stars in Google search (JSON-LD) are only offered for products. Google doesn't show stars for reviews a business collects about itself (your business, your organization), so they are not added there.
- Works with Forms (reviewers become contacts, the same spam protection), Popups (a popup button can send people to the review page) and Social Proof (new and approved reviews appear in the shared event stream with the rating only). Install order doesn't matter; removing any of them never breaks Reviews.
- Cost per visit: page views add no writes. A new review is a few small writes (the review, the contact and an event), and opening a review-request link is one logged write. If the Cloudflare free database limit is reached, new reviews cannot be saved until midnight UTC; shown reviews keep showing. Visit sources are counted by core: page views are added up in memory and saved in a few small writes about every 20 seconds, within the daily write budget; at the Cloudflare free limits counting pauses and the site is unaffected.

What's new
Reviews 0.7.3 · Nov 6, 2026
- Marked as beta: it works, but things may still break. The admin shows where to report a problem.
Show full history
Reviews 0.7.2 · Nov 5, 2026
- Small wording updates in the admin and in the instructions for your AI agent. Nothing else changes.
Reviews 0.7.1 · Nov 5, 2026
- Updated instructions for your AI agent: review requests go one person at a time to people you know, never as a bulk mailing. Nothing changes on your pages.
Reviews 0.7.0 · Nov 4, 2026
- The review page goes through the same steps as the rest of your site: the cookie banner, your tags and page views work there too.
- A new site without email no longer starts with a failing check: new-review email notices are on by default, so until you choose them yourself the missing email is a note. Reviews still arrive in the inbox.
- An unknown widget template name now lists the ones that exist, so your AI agent can retry straight away. The reviews waiting widget is marked as visitor text in the data your agent reads.
- Notices are now clean tinted cards in their status color, with no side edge.
Reviews 0.6.3 · Nov 4, 2026
- Deleting a review request asks first and says that the link already sent to the customer stops working. Without JavaScript, deletes show a short confirm page instead of going ahead.
Reviews 0.6.2
- Place a review widget next to an element: {path, after:"#pricing"}, {path, before:".faq"} or {path, afterHeading:"What people say"} in placements.
- Widgets follow the site's light and dark accents. The new-review notice check names the email fix for this site (SITE_EMAIL_BINDING for a binding under another name).
Reviews 0.6.1 · Nov 2, 2026
- reviews_list says its text comes from visitors (untrustedText: true plus a note). Owner-added testimonials still publish at once. app_toggle names the live review widgets that stop showing.
- Spam reviews are kept up to 200 a day. After that, more spam is dropped quietly (the sender still sees the normal thank-you) and the reviews list says how many were dropped today.
- The review limit counts an IPv6 visitor by the whole home or phone network (/64), and a very large post is refused (413) even if it is sent in pieces.
- Deleting a review, a review widget or a review request now asks you to confirm first.
- Review dates use one format, a review sent from a page is credited to that page in the where-from reports, and the Overview shows one Reviews tile.
Reviews 0.6.0 · Nov 1, 2026
- Same protection as the other forms: a review sent without the form's hidden token, or from another website, goes to Spam ("no form token", "sent from another site") and the sender still sees the normal thank-you. Spam counts toward the limit of 5 reviews per visitor per hour, and someone over it gets a clear "Too many reviews" page even without JavaScript. Needs core 0.17.1.
- The review endpoint answers no cross-site requests, and a review sent with missing fields shows the problem instead of looking sent.
- An empty site (no approved reviews yet) reports its widgets as information ("not set up; nothing is shown"), not as a warning or failure.
- AI agents: reviews_widget_create_from_template creates a draft widget that is not placed on any page; reviews_widget_save's dry run returns the complete widget and the same warnings; failing health checks name the tool that fixes them.
Reviews 0.4.1 · Nov 1, 2026
- reviews_widget_delete accepts a widget's name as well as its id, like reviews_widget_get. reviews_widget_save takes dry_run, which runs the same checks as a real save.
Reviews 0.4.0 · Nov 1, 2026
- Reports to analytics: every review sent is saved with where the visitor came from.
Reviews 0.3.4 · Oct 31, 2026
- Phone admin: widgets and review requests are compact list rows with a status dot after the name; extra actions sit in a "⋯" sheet.
Reviews 0.3.3 · Oct 31, 2026
- Admin pages work like a phone app: a menu drawer instead of a tab strip, 44px tap targets, fields that bring up the right keyboard, save buttons that stay in reach on long forms, and no sideways scrolling at any phone or tablet width.
Reviews 0.3.2 · Oct 31, 2026
- Agents: new reviews_widget_get; the widget templates say what they need and what they leave blank; self-test fixes name the tool to use.
- Health check: a live widget that would show nothing (no approved review matches its target or lowest rating, such as a wall of love set to 4 stars on a site with no reviews yet) now gets a warning with the fix, instead of passing.
Reviews 0.3.0 · Oct 30, 2026
- Your AI agent can manage this app through the admin's MCP connection (Settings, Connect an agent), signed in with Cloudflare Access like you. Deletes ask for a second confirmation; personal data is left out unless asked for.
Reviews 0.2.1 · Oct 30, 2026
- States its cost per visit (requests and database writes) before you install, and can be turned off in an emergency from Settings, Apps.
Reviews 0.2.0 · Oct 30, 2026
- With the Tag Manager installed, a sent review form is announced to your ad and analytics tags (the rating and what it is about, never the review text). Without it nothing changes.
Reviews 0.1.0 · Oct 30, 2026
- First release: a review form (stars, title, text, name, optional role or company) with spam protection, a page for it that sits inside your site's own header and footer, and an embed tag for any page.
- Moderate in one inbox (new reviews wait for you): approve, reject, feature, reply publicly, fix a display name. Bulk actions, filters, and an optional email when a review arrives.
- Show reviews as a list, a grid (wall of love), a swipeable carousel, one featured quote or an average-stars badge, per product or page, drawn into the page as it is served.
- Review requests: a personal link per customer (picked from your contacts or pasted), emailed when you press send or copied to send yourself.
- CSV import with a preview and a message for every row that can't be used. No scraping of other sites.
- Optional Google review stars (JSON-LD) for products only; the admin explains why reviews of your own business never get them.
Questions
Do I need to write code?
No. Your AI coding agent installs it into your site's project and deploys it with your own Cloudflare account. You approve the changes.
Does it send my site's data anywhere?
No. It runs in your own Cloudflare account. The store never sees your visitors, your form entries or your settings.
What happens after 12 months?
The version you have keeps working. Renew for about half the price if you want 12 more months of updates.
Can I use it on client sites?
Yes, with a site license per client site. The all-sites license covers the sites you own or run yourself.
What does it need from Cloudflare?
Cloudflare free plan, on Cloudflare Workers, Cloudflare Pages.
